DREAM is a place where "You Belong!"

At DREAM, we embody the spirit of "You Belong!" Since our doors opened in the fall of 2014, we've dedicated ourselves to fostering a safe and nurturing community. With a maximum enrollment of just 150 students, our staff and students forge strong connections that create a sense of belonging, akin to a second family.

Each student is paired with an Advisor in an Advisory group, rather than traditional classrooms. These advisory spaces accommodate about 18 students from grades 7-12. This setup allows students to craft their daily schedules and learn at their own pace, while older students have the opportunity to mentor their younger peers.

Mornings begin with an Advisory session where Advisors outline the day's plans, set goals, and engage in community-building activities. For the majority of the day, students work independently or collaborate in small groups on various projects, while reading and math receive more structured attention within the daily schedule.

Students are welcome to bring a lunch from home and can use our on-site microwaves and refrigerators.  DREAM also provides a free hot breakfast and lunch every school day, allowing students to enjoy social time with their peers during lunchtime.
